Well, hello there!

My name is Kaylah. I am an awkard, vintage-loving, makeup-obsessed, Mama of two little monsters.

I am based in Dubbo, Central West NSW but eager to take my makeup case all over the world and back again!

I have over 6 years experience in the makeup industry, specialising in weddings, formals and special events. I live for photoshoots and collaborations where I can let loose creatively! Nothing is off limits!

If I'm not busy with my kidlets or painting pretty faces I am picking things up and putting them down at the gym, swinging around a pole, sketching on my iPad or crocheting up a storm. Yes, I am an old lady at heart. I love cold winter's afternoons, copious amounts of tea and Khal Drogo. I am suprised he hasn't come up sooner...

I collect tattoos and artist prints. You'll know what I mean if you have ever set foot in my makeup studio. Some might describe my taste in fashion, art, music and decor as "eclectic" or just plain odd.

As a makeup artist I strive to go beyond the expectations of my clients. I may look scary but I promise, I am not! I always value your feedback, so please speak up if something is not right. I want you to walk out the door feeling a million bucks and 100% comfortable.

Our Story

As a teenager struggling to find a creative outlet, a beautiful friend of mine recommended I join her doing a makeup course at TAFE. Leaving behind the black eyeliner (who am I kidding? I never gave up eyeliner... I just learnt how to use it) and picking up a few other products and techniques, Babydoll Makeup Artistry was born.
